Brodank makes hotel bed linen in its own workshop in Comarnic, Romania. We cut and sew here — we do not resell imported stock. The workshop has been running since 1991, and more than 100 hotels and guesthouses in Romania have been fitted out with linen made in it. Sets start at 59.5 lei, excluding VAT. Everything is 100% cotton — percale, cotton sateen or damask — and cut to your own bed sizes.
What a bed linen set contains
A standard set covers one bed: a duvet cover, a bottom sheet and pillowcases. The rest depends on how your housekeeping works. Some hotels want a fitted sheet because it saves time at changeover. Others keep flat sheets because a flat sheet washes and presses more easily. Tell us which one your team prefers and we build the set around it.

Fabrics: percale, cotton sateen and damask
All three are 100% cotton. The difference is the weave, and the weave is what a guest feels when they get into bed. Percale is a plain weave: matte, crisp, cool on the first night, and it softens with every wash. Cotton sateen has more threads on the surface, so it is smoother, slightly shiny and heavier in the hand. Damask carries a pattern woven into the cloth itself — not printed on top — so the pattern cannot wash off and the cloth keeps its formal look after pressing.

If you are not sure which one fits your rooms, tell us how the rooms are used and how often the beds are stripped, and we will recommend a weave when we quote. Different fabrics can be mixed across a property — sateen in the suites, percale in the standard rooms — and we keep the colour consistent across the whole property.
Why fabric weight matters
Weight is easy to overlook when you compare offers, and it has a lot to do with how long the linen lasts. A heavier cotton has more fibre in it, so it takes more wash cycles before it thins, it hangs better over the mattress and it hides the mattress edges instead of clinging to them. A lighter cotton costs less, dries faster and puts less load on your laundry. Neither weight is right for every hotel.
We produce different weights for different products and different budgets. When we quote, we tell you the weight of the fabric we are quoting, so you can compare our offer with another one on the same basis. Two prices for a „cotton duvet cover” mean nothing until you know what each one weighs.
Sizes, including the awkward ones
We make any size, any shape, any colour. That is the practical advantage of producing in our own workshop: there is no catalogue size that we have to talk you into. Extra-long beds, French doubles, beds that are pushed together and separated depending on the booking, thick mattresses with a topper on them, older beds that no standard sheet fits — all of these are cut to measure.
Before you ask for a quote, measure the mattress: length, width, and depth including any topper. Depth is where most hotels get caught out. A fitted sheet made for a 20 cm mattress will not stay on a 32 cm one, and your housekeeping team will fight it every morning.
Built for industrial laundry
Hotel linen does not fail because of the guest. It fails in the laundry — hot water, strong detergent, high-speed extraction, ironing, repeated week after week. Our textiles are made for that. We use 100% cotton fabrics that stand up to repeated industrial washing, and every set is cut and sewn in our own workshop rather than bought in as imported stock.
The same thinking runs through the rest of our range. Our hotel towels start at 12 lei, excluding VAT, and are made in the same workshop, from cotton fabrics chosen for the same industrial laundry cycle.
Your logo on the linen
We personalise in three ways. Embroidery stitches your logo in thread onto the turn-down of the duvet cover or the edge of the pillowcase. Woven jacquard builds the name or motif into the fabric structure itself, which cannot wear off. Printing works for larger designs and shorter runs. Send us your logo file and we will tell you which of the three methods suits it and where it can sit on the item.
Prices
A set starts at 59.5 lei, excluding VAT. The final figure depends on the fabric, the size of the bed, the weight of the cloth, the quantity and whether you want personalisation. Volume changes the price, so tell us how many rooms you are dressing and how many changes per bed you keep in circulation. We also make curtains, drapes and bedspreads from 38 lei and restaurant textiles — tablecloths and table runners — from 9 lei, both excluding VAT, while bathrobes and curtain accessories are priced on request. How to order
We sell business to business, by quotation. There is no shopping basket on this site, because no two hotels order the same thing. Send us the number of rooms, the bed sizes with mattress depth, your preferred fabric and any logo requirement, and we will come back with a price and a fabric recommendation. We deliver throughout Romania; enquiries from outside Romania are discussed case by case.
